Bozeman hosts 14-team youth girls hockey tournament
The Bozeman Cup Youth Girls Hockey Tournament, hosted by The Bozeman Amateur Hockey Association (BAHA), is happening this Friday, December 1st through Sunday, December 3rd.
BAHA is pleased to host 5 weekends of hockey tournaments throughout the 2017/2018 season for youth ages 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and High School.
All games are to be held at Haynes Pavilion and Ressler Motors Ice Rink at the Ice Barn at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds.
This weekend, 14 teams from Missoula, Miles City, Richland, Flathead, Idaho Falls, Jackson, Salmon and Sun Valley are competing in the tournament along with two local Bozeman teams in the 19U and 14U divisions.
This type of event creates a significant economic impact on the city of Bozeman. Not only are the ice rinks bustling – Bozeman’s hotels, restaurants, gas stations and local shops will receive more business as a result of the influx of out-of-towners this weekend.
There are no spectator fees, so the community is encouraged to stop by and watch the games.
