BSF sponsors virtual FUNSKI series, Banff Film Fest
This season, Bridger Ski Foundation (BSF) will present its annual FUNSKI Community Nordic Ski Series virtually. The always anticipated events will take place monthly until the spring thaw.
Time yourself on a new xc ski course each month, on local trails groomed by BSF. Prizes, raffles and photo challenges will be included.
– Dec. 25th thru Jan. 3rd: Bozeman Hill Climb Classic
– Jan. 23rd & 24th: Sunset Hills World Cup
– Feb. 14th–21st: Valentine’s Relay
– March TBD: Surprise FUNSKI
Cost is $25 for the entire series. Open to all ages and abilities. Log on to the BSF website to register.
Also online this winter, access to the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour. Watch the best mountain culture films from the famous festival with two programs featuring different titles, as well as a combo option.
Each film program is the equivalent of one night of the World Tour in Bozeman. It includes the iconic introduction, a welcome from the road warriors, and typically 7-8 films with an intermission and online prize giveaways.
The Film Fest is available to stream at home for $15 each, or $28 for both. Rental period is 72 hours. A portion of proceeds will benefit BSF when admission is purchased through the BSF website.
Bridger Ski Foundation offers educational and competitive programs in Nordic, Freestyle, Freeskiing, Snowboarding and Alpine skiing. They also groom 70+ km of community Nordic ski trails for the Bozeman public. BSF focuses on inspiring a lifelong love of skiing, athletic excellence and personal growth.
