Following an inaugural performance by local tribute group Pinky & the Floyd last year, the first official concerts of Bridger Brewing’s summer concert series come to its Three Forks amphitheater this month.
First up is Country Western artist Corb Lund on Thursday, June 15th. The show begins at 7pm.
A rural Albertan hailing from the foothills of the Rocky Mountains with a long family lineage of ranchers and rodeo people, Lund embraces his Western heritage and indie rock past through his music. He’s been known to filter a range of cowboy themes past and present through his unique lens – from rough-and-tumble tales of lawless frontier saloons to the somber realities of running a modern family ranch. Last spring’s Songs My Friends Wrote follows his most recent release, Agricultural Tragic.
Rising country duo Muscadine Bloodline are set to bring their “Me on You” tour to Southwest Montana on Saturday, June 24th. Show starts at 7pm.
Proudly independent and unapologetically Southern, the country twosome comes to the Treasure State in support of their latest release, Teenage Dixie. From Mobile, Alabama, the band is comprised of Charlie Muncaster and Gary Stanton. Charlie’s contemporary vocals complimented by Gary’s harmonies and masterful guitar licks showcase a powerfully refreshing mix of talent, passion and unfiltered authenticity. Infamously undaunted by the big stage, their sound intertwines the brash irreverence of early southern rockers with the seductive quality of ’90s country love songs.
Since naming themselves Muscadine Bloodline in 2015, they’ve released a number of critically acclaimed EPs and full-lengths, sold out shows across the country, opened concerts for hundreds of artists and earned a standing ovation at their Grand Ole Opry debut in 2018. The guys’ Southern roots carry over to their band name as well: Muscadine grapes grow in the South while Bloodline represents their heritage.
Advance general admission tickets for Corb Lund and Muscadine Bloodline are $30 and $35, respectively, with VIP admission available.
