While the masses await the next lineup for Bridger Brewing’s outdoor amphitheater, their Bozeman and Three Forks locations continue to host musician nights this winter. Here’s a look at who’s performing in the coming weeks.
Bozeman Shows
First up is Jack Ooster on March 5th. Playing a mix of atmospheric folk, soul, blues and jazz, the local musician blends multiple genres to create a sound that is truly his own.
Jacob Rountree follows on March 12th. The alternative/indie songwriter is contemplative yet playful, with a lyric-forward style reflective of his love for philosophy, poetry and quantum physics. His contagious soul presents itself through raw vocals of impressive range and beautiful timbre, mesmerizing percussive finger-style guitar and a balance of catchy yet complex, polyrhythms.
Catch a solo set by Jack Gilk on March 19th. The Montana guitarist will perform a selection of Americana and country tunes for the midweek audience.
Brendan Nolan takes the stage March 26th. The Montana musician performs a wide variety of blues, rock and country. His catalog features Delta-style blues dobro guitar, as well as traditional six-string instruments with a mixture of covers and original material.
Three Forks Shows
Entertaining on March 6th is Brendan Nolan. He performs a wide variety of blues, rock and country. His catalog features Delta-style blues dobro guitar, as well as traditional six-string instruments with a mixture of covers and original material.
Marcedes Carroll entertains March 13th. She brings a variety of flavor to her live shows, performing tunes ranging from Turnpike Troubadours to Ella Fitzgerald to Led Zeppelin, along with plenty of originals. She released new album, We Lost Track of the Stars, last year.
Three Eyed Jack guitarist Mike Killeen brings a show on March 20th. Expect an evening of classic and country rock, as well as some hand-picked originals.
Soulful Americana bluegrass band Jody & the Woodflowers follow on March 27th. Blending heartfelt vocals with rich instrumentation to create a timeless sound, their repertoire spans sweet, haunting ballads, early American country harmonies, love songs, as well as lively fiddle tunes and instrumentals. They draw influence from folk traditions and modern Americana greats like Alison Krauss and Gillian Welch.
Bozeman music begins at 5:30pm, and 6pm in Three Forks.
