Big Sky’s discounted April Pass on sale thru Feb. 11, more powder-heavy events
Ski season is in full swing at Big Sky Resort, but the many runs aren’t the only thing bringing people to the hill! Special Olympics Montana sets up at Lone Mountain on Monday, February 25th for the Big Sky Area Winter Games. Come out and cheer on athletes of all ages and skill levels compete for the gold! Spectators welcome. The Opening Ceremony begins at 9am with the competitions to follow. All athletes are being registered through the Special Olympics directly. Free to spectate.
Looking to next month, show some love for our community’s four-legged friends at the 15th Annual Snowshoe Shuffle, set for Saturday, March 2nd beginning at 5:30pm. Experience a snowshoe hike, après chili dinner and a raffle! The torch-lit snowshoe trail will start at the Madison Base Area and wind its way up and around the ski terrain, then lead back down to a hot bowl of chili with friends – furry and otherwise! Please clean up after your pets. This event is $25 per person and benefits Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter. Advance tickets available at Heart of the Valley and both Bridger Animal Nutrition locations.
