Bozeman Film Society continues its latest season with a screening of indie drama, Tow. The event will be held at Downtown Bozeman’s Ellen Theatre on Tuesday, April 7th. The film begins at 7pm.
Based on a true story, the film follows Amanda Ogle (Rose Byrne), a woman living in her aging Toyota Camry on the streets of Seattle. When her car – her only lifeline – is stolen and impounded, Amanda is thrust into a relentless legal battle against an indifferent system. What begins as a fight to reclaim her car evolves into a deeply human story of resilience, dignity and the power of one woman’s voice in the face of systemic failure.
Also starring Octavia Spencer, Dominic Sessa, Ariana DeBose, Demi Lovato and Simon Rex, the film is directed by Stephanie Laing. Tow is Rated R with a run time of 105 minutes.

Following on Thursday, April 23rd, heartwarming comedy She Dances screens at The Ellen. The film begins at 7pm.
Forced to reconnect on the road to her final dance competition, a father and daughter – played by Steve Zahn and real-life daughter Audrey Zahn – must confront their fractured relationship. As they navigate a shared tragedy, the whirlwind of the Young Miss Southeast Regional Dance Finals becomes the backdrop for their journey toward healing. She Dances is a story about rediscovering family and finding yourself – about accepting what is, letting it shape you, and recognizing who you are through the memories of those you love most.
Also starring Mackenzie Ziegler and Ethan Hawke, the film is directed by Rick Gomez. She Dances is Rated PG-13 with a run time of 93 minutes.
Tow and She Dances screen April 7th and 23rd, respectively, at The Ellen. Wine, beer and concessions will be available prior to the events. Find ticketing access and learn more about the current season at www.bozemanfilmsociety.org – and Keep ‘Em Flickering! •
