A pillar of the Downtown Bozeman nightlife scene, the Eagles Bar features the very best talent the Valley has to offer with regular Wednesday acoustics and weekend jamming. Here’s a look at what’s happening in the coming weeks.
Katie Hall delivers a one-woman show on September 10th. She performs country and folk music featuring acoustic guitar as well as some a capella numbers.
Check out the Kailey Marie Band on Sept. 12th and 13th. The multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter’s music is characterized by its country grit and cosmic charm. By merging old-time outlaw country, soulful blues, and hip-hop infused rhythms, Marie has crafted a captivating sound. Her voice, which features a rebellious rasp and a sweet tone, is often compared to Janis Joplin or Dolly Parton.
Luke Flansburg fronts a solo show on Sept. 17th. He’ll bring a wide variety of music ranging from funk to rock to blues. Also a member of Pinky & the Floyd, Tsunami Funk and MOTH, prepare for a fun set of covers and originals that will span the genres.
New local band Willy on the Wire are set for performances on Sept. 19th and 20th. The Bozeman-based multi-piece are known for their vibey shows covering the best of rock, blues, soul and funk. Head down for a drink and check these guys out!
Poison Lovers guitarist and vocalist Robert Lethert performs on Sept. 24th. Expect a blend of old school country and contemporary Americana. His strong gravely voice will perfectly complement your evening at the downtown tavern.
Closing out the month is Butte’s Basketball Jones on Sept. 26th and 27th. The power trio is comprised of Pete Heidt on guitar, bassist Scott Murphy and drummer Jock Holmes. Each band member contributes vocals for an eclectic evening of harmonies and crowd interaction.
Laugh it up every Monday with the Eagles’ Comedy Open Mic Night. Whether you’re a spectator or have a few jokes of your own, sets begin at 8pm.
Exercise your pipes with the voted ‘Best’ Karaoke Night in town, sponsored by Bozeman’s Best Entertainment Group, setting up at FOE every Thursday. Sing your heart out and cheer on your friends! Sign-ups start at 9pm.
The Eagles hosts BINGO Night on Saturday evenings, with the game beginning at 6pm. Grab your friends and dobber of choice for a chance to win some extra bucks.
Make sure to check out Bridger Mountain Big Band on Sunday nights. The ensemble performs at 7pm. The 17-piece jazz orchestra celebrates the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie and more, with original arrangements and music of all genres from the 1900s to today.
