Banff Mountain Film Fest comes to Bozeman with Willson screenings
Join the Bridger Ski Foundation when the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings the spirit of outdoor adventure to Bozeman at the Willson Auditorium. Screenings are set for Friday and Saturday, January 14th and 15th at 7pm, as well as Sunday, Jan. 16th at 6pm.
Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival is the largest, and one of the most prestigious, mountain festivals in the world. Hot on the heels of the festival held every fall in Banff, Canada, the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour hits the road.
This year’s tour features a collection of the most inspiring action, environmental and adventure films from the festival. Traveling to remote vistas, analyzing topical environmental issues, and bringing audiences up-close and personal with adrenaline-packed action sports, the 2021/2022 World Tour is an exhilarating and provocative exploration of the mountain world.
From the over 400 entries submitted into the Festival each year, award-winners and audience favorites are among the films that are carefully selected to play in theatres around the world.
The Bozeman stop will feature films such as Precious Leader Woman featuring snowboarder Spencer O’Brien’s story, the tale of grizzlies in Bear Like, a spotlight on a female sherpa in Dream Mountain, and Reel Rock 15: Deep Roots.
Tickets for all screenings are $19. For purchase details and further information, visit www.bridgerskifoun
