Audition for Shane’s extraordinary spring musical, Big Fish
On Tuesday, January 14th, Director Russell Lewis will hold open auditions for the musical Big Fish at Livingston’s Shane Lalani Center for the Arts beginning at 7pm.
Based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and Tim Burton’s acclaimed film, Big Fish tells the story of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who leads an extraordinary life full of witches, giants, and mermaids. Edward’s incredible stories thrill everyone around him – most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father’s epic tales. Overflowing with heart and humor, Big Fish is an extraordinary musical tale – spectacular, fantastical and full of love.
Roles are available for ages 13 and up. No prepared audition material is required. Rehearsals for this production will take place weekday evenings from Jan. 20th through February 27th. Big Fish runs weekends from Feb. 28th through March 22nd.
