The live music slate rises above at Downtown Livingston’s favorite spot, bringing in acts to suit every palate. Here’s a look at some of the upcoming artists heading up to The Attic.
Enjoy the talents of El Wencho on March 6th. The powerhouse duo delivers big sound that relates the Montana lifestyle through immersive lyrics, catchy melodies and driving rhythms. Their authentic music is an eclectic fusion of genres that draws on sonic elements from red dirt rock, blues, country, Americana and polyrhythmic Latin percussion. Live shows are an experiential combination of their dynamic Montana sound, engaging storytelling and comedic flair.
Take in a performance by duo act Sgt. Splendor on March 20th with opening support by Danny Bee. The project blends indie rock, folk and Americana into rich, atmospheric songs. Known for thoughtful songwriting, layered harmonies and a balance of intimacy and cinematic sweep, their music feels both expansive and deeply personal, rooted in a strong sense of place. Comprised of Kate Vargas and Eric McFadden, the pair will perform selections from their debut full-length Death of the Hoochie Koo and new album Isotopia.
BluesLine follows with a March 27th show. Dedicated to preserving and revitalizing the rich legacy of blues music, the band carries the soul of blues forward, infusing its raw power and heartfelt storytelling into every note. With a reverence for tradition and a passion for innovation, the group connects generations – old and new – through captivating performances that echo the spirit of the Memphis blues and beyond.
And late this month, atmospheric duo Emma & the Ledge perform March 28th. The duo skillfully creates a sound that’s luminous and atmospheric, yet energizing enough to send an audience to their feet. Their music weaves together blues, alternative, rock, folk and independent styles utilizing a mix of acoustic and electric guitars.
