By Danny Waldo
Local soccer enthusiasts will be provided with a unique opportunity as the Atlanta United FC of Major League Soccer will be hosting a youth camp in Bozeman for the first time ever on July 15th and 16th.
Atlanta United FC is owned by Arthur Blank who also happens to own the Atlanta Falcons. Blank owns Mountain Sky Guest Ranch in the Paradise Valley, and has long been fond of Montana. The Falcons have been hosting football camps at Bobcat Stadium for the past three years, but this is the first time Blank’s professional soccer team will be hosting a camp in the Gallatin Valley.
The camp will be held at Bozeman Sports Park on July 15-16 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. There is no charge for the camp, and players of all skill levels, aged 8-14 are invited to participate.
Atlanta United is the reigning MLS champion, and this is their first time hosting a camp anywhere in Montana. Atlanta United FC will also host a camp in Livingston as well.
According to the Atlanta United FC, this camp will offer “quality coaching and an unbelievable experience for players.”
