Bozeman’s next Astronomy on Tap returns to Mountains Walking Brewery on Tuesday, December 4th with “Rockets & Balloons” beginning at 7pm. Dr. Charles Kankelborg and Dr. John Sample, both from Montana State University’s Department of Physics, will be on hand to present. Enjoy a beer and a few bites while learning about astronomy and testing your astro-trivia knowledge.

Sponsored by Mountains Walking and Yellowstone Forever, this all-ages event is open to the public. The brewery is located at 422 Plum Ave., featuring a truly excellent view of the Bridger Range. Head down, order up a brew, and find a seat!
Each FREE Astronomy on Tap event features accessible, engaging science presentations on topics ranging from planets to black holes to galaxies to the beginning of the Universe. Presenters are from local research and educational institutions. Astronomy on Tap was created in New York City by Meg Schwamb, currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Astronomy & Astrophysics, Academia Sinica (Taiwan).
