The largest single giving day in Montana to raise critical funds for nonprofits in Gallatin County
From 6pm on Thursday, May 4th, through 6pm on Friday, May 5th, the One Valley Community Foundation will host its 9th annual Give Big Gallatin Valley event. This is the annual community-wide fundraiser and celebration of giving for all Gallatin County nonprofits.
Over the past eight years, our community has come together to raise nearly $11.5 million through more than 68,000 gifts for hundreds of local nonprofits during Give Big. Last year alone, 6,120 generous donors raised north of $2.8 million for 230 nonprofits. As a result, Give Big has become the largest single-day giving event in Montana.
Give Big Gallatin Valley, powered by One Valley and sponsored by Yellowstone Club Community Foundation, is a 24-hour event that brings together the community to support the nonprofits doing crucial work in Gallatin County. During the event, supporters can visit the event website to find the causes they care about and give big to local nonprofits, all in one convenient place.
With record-breaking 250 organizations participating in this year’s event, One Valley’s goal is to make Give Big 2023 the largest giving day yet! The event will feature nonprofits from numerous municipalities from across Gallatin County whose missions range from arts and community advocacy to education and environmental needs, with a nonprofit for everyone to support. Give Big provides an opportunity to give back to the organizations that make Gallatin Valley a strong and vibrant community.
With the challenges presented since the onset of the pandemic, many nonprofits have had to pivot programs and learn to fulfill their missions in new ways. Because of this, nonprofits need ongoing support from the community. To help reach this year’s goal and provide these organizations with much-needed support, One Valley has teamed up with Yellowstone Club Community Foundation to encourage the community to give big on May 4th and 5th.
