Snowy fun indoors at local Children’s Museum
The Children’s Museum of Bozeman (CMB) will host snowy science and winter crafts every day during winter break with CMB’s Winter Wonderland. This seasonally-inspired exhibit features hands-on activities all over the museum. Make a cardboard gingerbread house, pin the antlers on Merry Moose, make snow glitter slime and festive ornaments! Activities will be available for all ages, December 21st–30th from 11am–3pm. Included with membership or admission.
Also at the Children’s Museum… Open STEAMlab Hours through the end of the year and into next. Connect with Bozeman’s community of youth makers. All available tools will be at your disposal with Arduinos, Raspberry Pis, 3D printers, and more – plus, a resident expert on-hand to help out. Drop off kids grades 6–12 on Mondays from 3–5pm, Tuesdays from 4–7pm, and Fridays from 12–2pm through the school year.
The innovative STEAMlab program offers personally relevant project-based learning opportunities to kids with the aim of bolstering interest and expertise in 21st century skills. Come enjoy the STEAMlab as part of your museum experience. Included with membership or admission.
Regular museum hours are Monday through Saturday from 10am–5pm. Please note: CMB will be closed Dec. 24th–26th.
CMB is a lean organization, and more than 85% of money earned or raised is used to directly fund its programs, exhibits and services.
