The 2018 Summer SLAM Festival will return to Bozeman’s Bogert Park, Saturday and Sunday, August 4th–5th for its eighth annual event. Artists from around the state in all mediums will be exhibiting their work while performers grace the stage for two days of fabulous Montana entertainment. Delicious culinary options will be available for your enjoyment, along with a selection of Montana-made spirits and brews for patrons 21+ in the SLAM Libations garden.
But before the fun can begin, SLAM is seeking volunteers to offer their time and talents to help ensure the summer festival is a success for everyone involved! Those interested can log on to www.slamfestivals.org and click on ‘Volunteer’ to peruse the shift schedule and sign-up based on individual interests.
SLAM (Support Local Artists & Musicians) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting arts and art education in a manner that enriches and involves the community. SLAM hosts events to showcase the artistic talent of Montana residents, funds scholarships to community members seeking education in the arts, and spearheads community art installations. Artist participation in SLAM festivals is open only to Montanans, but everyone is welcome to attend, experience, and support the talents of our fantastic artist community
