MSU jazz ensembles to perform spring concert at the Emerson

The Montana State University School of Music will host The Cat’s Meow, an evening of jazz music and swing dancing at the Emerson Center for the Arts and Culture, beginning at 7:30pm on Saturday, April 6th.
The evening will feature the One O’ Clock Jazz Ensemble, the Jazz Workshop Band and the Royal We Jazz Quintet, led by MSU music professor Ryan Matzinger. There will also be performances by MSU’s Swing Cats, a student organization that promotes vintage swing dancing. Attendees are encouraged to join in and dance. Hors d’oeuvres will be provided by Sadie’s Catering and a cash bar will be available.
Doors open at 7pm and tickets are $25 per person and available online through the School of Music at http://ticketpeak.com/msumusic or at the door.
