Enjoy Hot Springs’ May musicians from the pool!
Bozeman Hot Springs is a destination for locals and their soak-loving families, but the venue is also home to weekly live music from the pool-adjacent stage on regular Thursday and Sunday nights beginning at 7pm. Here’s a look at who’s set to perform.
Enjoy the blissful pairing of Lena Marie Schiffer & Ryan Acker on Sunday, May 5th. Musicians from two of the biggest bluegrass/Americana bands in their respective areas, they’ve become staples in the Montana music scene. Frontwoman of Laney Lou and the Bird Dogs, Schiffer is recognized around the area for her amazing bluegrass sound, which has been wowing audiences for years. Acker, the banjo player from Minnesota-based Americana powerhouse The Last Revel, will join her on stage. He’s known to provide a wide variety of stringed instruments and soulful vocals at every show. Bringing their amazing musical abilities together as a duo makes for one amazing show that can’t be missed.

Christy Hays
Texas-based traveling musician Christy Hays follows on Thursday, May 9th. She’s been compared to legendary folk-rock artists like Lucinda Williams, Rhett Miller, Kathleen Edwards and Patty Griffin but is an artist in her own right. Bringing an Americana sound with folk and country tinges, thoughtfully penned stories and a full-band sound both driving alt country and moody folk rock, her music spans a wide variety of genres. Hays commands the stage wherever she goes, and always puts on a great show for the Hot Springs.
One of the funkiest bands in Bozeman, PermaFunk makes music to keep bodies moving and souls grooving. Their Hot Springs show on Sunday, May 12th will feature a night full of funky, soulful, psychedelic, Latin-infused grooves. Comprised of some of the finest musicians in the area, PermaFunk has everything a funk fan could want, with music full of guitar, percussion, bass, trumpets, saxes, keys, and even sometimes flute, bringing one heck of a party wherever they go.
Looking ahead, Edis & the Incredibles take the stage on Thursday, May 16th. She’s been playing music in the Bozeman area for over 30 years as a solo act and with a variety of bands. Believing in the transformative and healing power of music, Edis plays a unique blend of folky, bluesy tunes that can appeal to any audience. Playing with some of Bozeman’s finest musicians, Edis will bring her trio to the hot springs to entertain music-lovers of all ages.
