Give BIG 2019: nonprofit registration closes March 31

                      On May 2nd and 3rd from 6pm to 6pm, the Bozeman Area Community Foundation will host the fifth annual Give Big, a 24-hour celebration to raise important funds for Gallatin County nonprofits. Give Big is designed to connect new donors to local causes – and to raise unrestricted money to support their work. In just four years, our community has raised 2.6 million dollars through 14,000 gifts for over 194 local nonprofits during Give Big. Last year alone, 4,747 community members raised over 1.2 million dollars for local organizations!
This year, the Community Foundation’s goal is to inspire 5,000 donors in our community to raise 1.5 million dollars in 24 hours for 200 local nonprofits. Their focus is on inspiring more community members to give this year than ever before. The population of Gallatin County is estimated to be over 100,000 people; if everyone donates $15 during Give Big, the goal will be reached. To help with the event’s largest goal yet, BACF is teaming up with the Yellowstone Club Community Foundation to inspire giving through Give Big.

This wonderful, community-building 24 hours builds enthusiasm for the amazing nonprofits that support our community,” said Britt Ide, Executive Director of the Yellowstone Club Community Foundation. “Our sponsorship and prize money allow us to support ALL the area nonprofits, encourage education for nonprofits on online fundraising, engage new and younger donors and be part of a fun day. Our favorite parts include the NEW donors (764 last year!) and the children that donate to their favorite nonprofits.”
