This is a free community event with food and beverage proceeds that benefit our Gallatin Valley YMCA. \nProfessional and amateur contestants from the all over the US and Canada come to compete for the Montana State Championship of BBQ in the categories of chicken\, pork ribs\, pork and brisket. \nFRIDAY\, AUGUST 23 | 5PM – 8PM\nBring your appetite!  Que’ for a Cause ????? is Friday\, Aug 23rd\, where a variety of the competing teams will be serving specialty foods\, and you get to enjoy live music to create a great family event. \n‍Purchase BBQ Chips in advance at any Kenyon Noble location or day of at the Chip Stations so you can exchange for food and drinks on Friday Night! \n‍A large percentage of all proceeds from the Montana Pitmaster Classic will go directly towards supporting our community and the Gallatin Valley YMCA. \nSATURDAY\, AUGUST 24 | 10AM – 4PM\nWant to try real competition BBQ? Competitors will be selling their delicious BBQ turn-ins starting at 10am! (Food and drink purchases on Saturday are CASH ONLY.) \nJoin us at noon to check out the biggest names in BBQ; Traeger\, Ooni\, Weber\, and Pit Boss. Their professional grill masters will be on-hand to showcase grills\, reveal new product\, give live demos\, host educational classes\, and teach new and innovative ways to produce great barbecue. Classes are scheduled to start at 12pm. \nStick around until 4pm to see who will be crowned the 2024 Montana Pitmaster Champion! The overall highest scoring competitor in all categories will become the Grand Champion of the tournament and state champion\, making them eligible for the Kansas City Royal (one of the biggest BBQ competitions in the world!)
