Gallatin Conservation District staff joined the market as vendors in 2018 and 2019 to promote the district’s landowner resources and educational opportunities and to provide fun\, environmentally-focused activities for anyone who stops by. DESCRIPTION:Everyone is welcome to join this leisurely stroll in the area with local guides. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nBegins June 5\, ends August 14\, 5:30 PM\, Library Front Plaza \nJoin renowned wildlife guide Ken Sinay for a weekly Wednesday Walk for the summer. Guests from local organizations such as Gallatin Valley Land Trust and The Sacagawea Audubon Society will share their expertise during certain walks. \nEveryone is welcome to join this leisurely stroll in the local area. Walks begin promptly at 5:30 departing from the Library Front plaza\, and are an out and back on local trails for approximately 3 miles\, or 50 minutes. \nFriendly suggestions for attendees: please arrive early – walks depart promptly at 5:30 PM\, wear a wide-brimmed hat or sunglasses\, bring something to drink\, and wear comfy footwear. If it is pouring rain\, or thunder and lightning is present\, the walk will be cancelled. \nGallagator Trail -June 5 and July 10 \nBurke Park and Peet’s Hill – June 12 and July 17 \nLindley Park/Bogert Park and Lindley Place – June 26 and July 31 \nSunset Hills Cemetery as a Wildlife Habitat – July 3 and August 7 \nIndreland Audubon Wetland Preserve – July 24 and August 14
