DESCRIPTION:Grafik Intervention: An In-Depth Bozeman History\nWednesday\, March 25\, 2026 Noon- 1 pm         SUB Alumni Legacy Lounge\nMSU Graphic Design students Sasha Maguire\, Erika Chapin and Kylie Zwagerman will discuss their uniquely creative project called Grafik Intervention. Students from the MSU School of Art worked in interdisciplinary teams to research\, design and install public projection that revealed hidden histories of downtown Bozeman buildings and foster community engagement through contemporary design.  Sasha will also discuss her individual project Women Who Design which focuses on and supports women in design careers.

In Montana\, rising heat and drought are affecting air quality\, food sources\, and public health. Once we recognize this connection\, we see the potential to drive meaningful change. I will share resources to help you stay safe during poor air conditions\, extreme heat\, and drought\, as well as practical ways to join efforts to protect Montana and its future generations. \nAbout Julia Ryder\nJulia serves as the Program Manager for Montana Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate. With over 14 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department at Bozeman Health\, she has developed educational materials specifically for healthcare professionals in Montana\, both during her clinical practice and graduate studies. Julia holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Montana and a Bachelor of Science from Southern Utah University\, along with a certificate in Emergency Medicine and Environmental Health. Her commitment to public health and environmental awareness was shaped by her experiences working as a backcountry guide in Moab\, Utah\, where she gained valuable insight into the health benefits of outdoor engagement. In addition to her professional achievements\, Julia balances her career with family life and personal interests in horses\, skiing\, and the mountains. \nPresented by Gallatin Valley Earth Day and Montana Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate
