SUMMARY:Dino Garner and Liz Fetter FREE Veterans Day tribute
DESCRIPTION:Pulitzer Prize-nominated authors Dino Garner and Liz Fetter will host a free Veterans Day tribute at Hotel Baxter on Tuesday\, November 11\, welcoming veterans\, families\, and community members from across the Gallatin Valley. \nThe one-hour evening presentation will feature stories from the authors’ military-focused books\, including excerpts from “AEROMASTERS: Celebrating a Century of the American Fighter Pilot” and their forthcoming “SILENT SCARS\, BOLD REMEDIES: Cutting-Edge Care and Healing from Post-Traumatic Stress Injuries.” \n“The stories in ‘AEROMASTERS’ are about the character\, integrity and unbreakable spirit of the fighter pilots and pararescue jumpers who defended our country\,” said Garner. “We want to bring that legacy to life.” \nThe event focuses on universal themes of duty\, courage\, and hope\, according to the authors. Fetter emphasized the healing aspect of veteran stories. \n“The journey home is one of the most courageous parts of a veteran’s story\,” Fetter said. “With ‘SILENT SCARS BOLD REMEDIES’\, we want to highlight the incredible post-traumatic growth that is possible\, celebrate that strength and build understanding for anyone who has faced trauma.” \nThe presentation will be held from 7-8 p.m. at Hotel Baxter\, located at 105 W Main St in downtown Bozeman. The session is described as an uplifting and apolitical tribute. \nFollowing the authors’ presentation\, attendees can participate in a question-and-answer session. The event includes complimentary light refreshments\, with a cash bar available. \nAll attendees will receive commemorative gifts\, including re-struck medals of the Lafayette Escadrille\, America’s first fighter squadron that flew for France during World War I\, along with other military medals and patches. \n“AEROMASTERS” is currently available on Amazon\, while “SILENT SCARS\, BOLD REMEDIES” will be formally published on Veterans Day 2025.
