DESCRIPTION:Montana’s Housing Crisis Summit: Can Supply Meet Demand?\nAn summit to gather policymakers and stakeholders to address Montana’s ongoing housing affordability crisis. \nOn November 18th and 19th\, The Burton K. Wheeler Center will host a statewide conference addressing the housing crisis in Montana. \n\nThe conference will kick off the evening of November 18th with a keynote address by Missoula Mayor Andrea Davis\, “Common-Sense Solutions: Perspective from the Frontlines of Montana’s Housing Crisis.” Tickets for the keynote address are included with the $85 full conference pass\, you can also purchase tickets to just the keynote portion.\nThe all-day session on November19th will begin with a morning talk by Ben Horowitz from the Minneapolis branch of the Federal Reserve.\nA luncheon talk by Billings architect Randy Hafer.\nThe keynote talks will surrounded by panel presentations and breakout discussion sessions identifying specific policies\n\nSince 1988\, the Burton K. Wheeler Center\, named for Montana’s legendary ‘fighting Senator\,’ has operated as a rigorously non-partisan public policy Center devoted to the exploration of vital Montana issues. \nThe conference will feature a wide array of diverse\, informed perspectives on Montana housing and the best ways to address the problem of housing unaffordability.
