SUMMARY:The Moors
DESCRIPTION:The Moors\nDIRECTED BY DAVID WINTERSTEEN\na wicked gothic comedy that gleefully twists the conventions of the classic Victorian novel.\nSet on a bleak\, windswept English moor\, the play follows two eccentric sisters and a naïve governess—but where is the man of the manor\, and where is the child she is supposed to look after? And can their mastiff negotiate a cross-species relationship with a moor-hen? What follows is a darkly comic exploration of longing\, repression\, ambition\, and desire. \nBlending the brooding atmosphere of the Brontë sisters with modern wit and surreal humor\, The Moors delivers quick-fire dialogue\, unexpected twists\, and delightfully offbeat characters. Equal parts gothic parody and existential comedy\, The Moors is a smart\, subversive theatrical romp that skewers romantic mythologies while celebrating the messy\, unpredictable business of being human. \nDELICIOUSLY WEIRD.\nNOT TO BE MISSED.\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS ON SALE NOW!

SUMMARY:Moonchildren
DESCRIPTION:Moonchildren by Michael Weller centers around eight college students sharing a tiny apartment in 1965. They’re about to graduate and need to figure out what to do next. Romantic relationships\, grades\, the Vietnam War\, trying to be “successful” and trying to be “relevant” all add to the pressures of being 22. The members of our rag tag group cope differently\, ranging from humours distraction to self destructive confrontation. As an audience\, we have the privilege of witnessing each person grapple as individuals and the moments they come together. Moonchildren shows us a parallel time of nationwide instability and the complexities of navigating it. My hope is that we find solace in these characters who are looking for hope in the unknown side by side.
