DESCRIPTION:Carve out some winter fun at the 10th Annual Sweet Pea Festival Ice Carving Competition\, returning to Soroptimist Park on Friday\, January 31. \nCelebrating a decade of icy creativity\, the beloved winter event invites solo carvers\, friends\, and family teams to transform massive blocks of ice into one-of-a-kind winter masterpieces. Carving begins at 9:00 a.m.\, with judging at 3:00 p.m. The event is free to participate\, with cash prizes awarded to top finishers\, and free for the public to attend. \nNew for the 10th anniversary\, Sweet Pea is adding a mini artists’ marketplace upstairs at the Eagles from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The market is a nod to the Sweet Pea Summer Festival and will feature a curated lineup of local artists.
