The event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. online via Zoom and is free and open to the public.\nTwo government study commissions\, comprising volunteers elected by voters in November 2024\, spent the past two years considering how Bozeman and Gallatin County governments could better serve their rapidly growing populations.\nDuring the forum\, Jeff Krauss from the county study commission and Carson Taylor and Deanna Campbell from the city study commission will explain the recommended changes that will appear on November ballots and the reasoning behind them. The panel will respond to questions from the audience as time permits.\nParticipants must register for the forum by 11 a.m. Sept. 11 and can do so online at the OLLI at MSU website or via Zoom. Upon registration confirmation\, participants will receive an email with the Zoom link and instructions to join the forum.\nOLLI at MSU Friday Forums are a program of MSU Academic Technology and Outreach and offer discussions on timely local and regional topics from September to May.

Milly also dreamed of finding her long-lost father and finally completing her family. \nSo\, when Milly’s summer takes a turn and she and her mom travel from Maine to rural Wyoming to help ailing grandparents\, opportunity strikes. And by the end of three weeks—with the unlikely help of nine-year old Tuck and her curmudgeon of a grandfather—Milly not only learns about rodeo\, riding and wildfires\, she discovers her father is in plain sight. \nABOUT THE AUTHOR\nBrooke Carnwath received a BA from Middlebury College and an MA in journalism from the University of Montana. Since then\, she has authored one picture book\, two novels for young readers\, and a creative nonfiction project about the Yoga Sutras\, which received an honorable mention in Hay House Publishing’s 2024 book contest. Her flash fiction has appeared in Women On Writing and in the Elk River Writers Workshop anthology Voices Elevated. She teaches writing at Montana State University and lives in Bozeman.

Quirky\, homemade and darkly comic\, the Vinyl’s show includes musical styles ranging from Sci-Fi\, Experimental\, Jazz\, and Classical to Country Western\, all played on the theremin!
