YGM’s Exploring Yellowstone Through Art
January 14
An event every day that begins at 12:00am, repeating until February 28, 2021
Livingston, Montana: The Yellowstone Gateway Museum announces its first online exhibit, Exploring Yellowstone Through Art, featuring artwork by twenty-five local artists and the inspirational stories behind their artwork. On display at the museum during summer 2015 on the top floor of the museum, readers may now view the exhibit by visiting www.yellowstonegatewaymuseum.org.
The museum plans to post more history content online as time allows, including stories from Pull Up A Chair: Tales from the Seats of History, Honoring Park County Veterans, the new Farming and Ranching exhibit, the upcoming Ice Age Mammal exhibit, and more. The museum’s goal is to make Park County history more accessible to everyone. Other new online offerings include Glimmers of History, a weekly post on Facebook and Instagram, featuring photographs from museum collections and a brief history. A monthly e-newsletter is now also available.
For more information about online exhibits, weekly social media posts, and the e-newsletter and how to sign up, please contact Karen Reinhart, interim director, kreinhart@parkcounty.org; or 406-222-4184. Visit our Facebook or Instagram page for updates.
