DESCRIPTION:Volunteer Opportunity: Greek Creek Campground Riparian PlantingMay 2 @ 11:00 am – 4:00 pm \nWith your help\, we’ll complete our latest restoration project at the Greek Creek campground along the Gallatin River. Volunteers will assist the Gallatin River Task Force and Custer Gallatin National Forest with installing riparian plants and fencing. The plants will provide bank stabilization\, fish and wildlife habitat\, and a strong riparian buffer to help filter out pollutants before they reach the Gallatin. \nWhere: Meet at the Greek Creek Campground off of Highway 191. Work will be conducted on the river side of the campground. \nWhat to bring: Work shoes (work boots\, hiking shoes\, muck boots\, etc.)\, long pants\, sun protection\, water/water bottle\, work gloves (optional)\, gardening hand tools (optional) Gallatin River Task Force will provide water refill\, work gloves\, all necessary tools\, snacks.
