Orphan Girl Community Theatre is excited to bring you Urinetown the Musical.
Urinetown is an hilarious musical satire, that takes place in a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity’s most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides that he’s had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!
Urinetown the Musical runs on the Orphan Girl Theatre stage April 4th – 13th. Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 7pm and Saturdays at 2pm**.
Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors and $10 for kids 10 and under. There is no Spotlight for this production. For tickets, visit www.orphangirl.org/tickets or call 406-782-5657. Box Office hours are Noon to 4pm Monday to Friday.
The Orphan Girl Theatre is located at 316 W. Park St, in the lower level of the Mother Lode Theatre. The theatre is accessed through the Washington Street Entrance for Box Office. Patrons enter through the gate on Galena Street.
**Urinetown is rated PG-13 because of mild language and themes. Despite the risque-sounding title, it is suited for all ages.
