Morrison\, a Nobel Prize–winning author whose work reshaped American literature\, is widely recognized for her powerful explorations of memory\, identity and the Black experience. In recognition of Morrison’s birthday\, the Student Commons will screen her 1993 Nobel lecture at 10 a.m. and the documentary “Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am” at noon.
