DESCRIPTION:July 20-24\, 2026\nTime: 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm\nAudience: Teens entering grades 8-12 in fall 2026\nCost: $275 \nThis hands-on filmmaking camp for teens entering 8th through 12th grade in fall 2026\, introduces students to the complete process of creating a short movie. Over the course of one exciting week\, students will write\, shoot\, and edit their own narrative film while learning the essentials of visual storytelling and on-set collaboration. Taught by MSU School of Film and Photography instructor Alexa Alberda\, students will working in small production teams to develop a story\, plan their shoot\, operate cameras\, record sound\, light scenes\, direct actors\, and edit a finished narrative project. The course emphasizes creativity\, teamwork\, and practical skill-building.
