On view through August\, with an opening reception August 8th from 6-8PM.\nArtist Statement: “Reticence” was a word that kind of rolled and floated off the page\, hovering before my mind’s eye when I first read it. It\nseemed to hold out an invitation to linger with it. Life itself has a reticent quality to it. If we are open to it\, it humbles us as we age. It\, in fits and starts\, slowly and yet sometimes swiftly\, even painfully\, discloses its truth to us.\nMy last twenty years of being an artist in the “West” have been marked by sudden bursts of insight that rest upon a much broader and gentler unfolding process in which I’ve slowly gained a sense of what it is that I feel called to create. This show simply represents the latest in that unfolding.
