Paid Dietary Research Study
November 21 @ 1:00pm
An event every day that begins at 1:00pm, repeating until November 30, 2020
The Nutrition Research Laboratory at MSU is recruiting participants for a dietary study, “Impact of Diet and Gut Microbiome on Metabolism and Inflammation.” We are investigating how gut microorganisms and foods influence metabolism and inflammation. This study involves 4 visits to the Nutrition Research Laboratory in Herrick Hall with the 3rd and 4th visit separated by a 12-week long intervention where you are asked to eat a provided mid-day meal each day. Blood collection will occur once at visit 2 and six times at visit 3 and visit 4. Benefits include receiving information about your body composition, blood pressure, blood glucose, and blood lipids. Compensation for your participation is up to $250.
