DESCRIPTION:Friday\, October 31\, 2025Starting at 8:00pm \nOppo was formed because Brian Stumpf was wanting to buy a new bass guitar\, he needed a valid reason. He texted guitarist Luke Flansburg and drummer Brett Goodell to see if they wanted to form a trio. The decade-long friends didn’t hesitate and Oppo was born. The name Oppo derived from the baseball term\, Oppo Taco\, a slang reference to an opposite field home run. Still finding its musical identity and determined to make people dance\, Oppo grabs influences from Phish\, The Funky Meters\, The Police\, and 90’s grunge. With a few originals in the mix\, Oppo is excited for writing new tunes on their musical journey and will rely upon choice covers to aid in their first steps.
