DESCRIPTION:The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute<https://www.montana.edu/olli/> at Montana State University will host a Friday Forum on Sept. 11 on proposed local government changes that will appear on Montanans’ ballots this November. The event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. online via Zoom and is free and open to the public.\nTwo government study commissions\, comprising volunteers elected by voters in November 2024\, spent the past two years considering how Bozeman and Gallatin County governments could better serve their rapidly growing populations.\nDuring the forum\, Jeff Krauss from the county study commission and Carson Taylor and Deanna Campbell from the city study commission will explain the recommended changes that will appear on November ballots and the reasoning behind them. The panel will respond to questions from the audience as time permits.\nParticipants must register for the forum by 11 a.m. Sept. 11 and can do so online at the OLLI at MSU website<https://learn.montana.edu/catalog/course/2197/september-friday-forum-title-to-be-determined> or via Zoom<https://zoom.us/webinar/register/5217858588852/WN_TJ3kHb4USlaU8h6LivbnDw>.
