MSU Chorale: “Serenade Before the Parade”

The Montana State University Chorale, the Montanans and alumni from the MSU Chorale will perform a vocal recital, “Serenade Before the Parade,” at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Bozeman’s Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 220 W. Main St.
The recital, which is free and open to the public, will finish prior to MSU’s homecoming parade, which will begin at 10 a.m.
Kirk Aamot, MSU music professor, will be the conductor for the Chorale and Montanans. Marco Ferro, former director of the Bozeman Symphonic Choir and former Bozeman High School choral director, will be the
conductor for the MSU Chorale alumni. The recital will include Maurice Duruflé’s “Ubi Caritas” and “The Lord is My Shepherd” by John Rutter. MSU conductor emeritus Lowell Hickman will conduct the final selection, Tim Bell will accompany on the organ and Beth Antonopulos will play an oboe solo.
