Got Apples? Lockhorn will once again be accepting local apples at the Cider House in exchange for cider! 1 glass or can for every 25 pounds of apples or crabapples beginning September 15th – October 31st.
Last year, residents picked an astounding 15,000 pounds of apples which we crafted into over 1,000 gallons of “The Bozeman Backyard Blend”. The diversity of crabapples and heirloom varieties in this unique cider, truly captures the majestic flavor and community spirit of the Big Sky!
We owe the success of this community effort to the uniquely Montana enthusiasm for delicious local beverages, community, and giving back.
