DESCRIPTION:Gallatin Conservation District is partnering with local residents to host a spectacular native garden lot tour at three spectacular gardens around the county in July. We will address a variety of land management and maintenance practices relating to pollinator gardens.\nJuly 22nd\n5:30-6:30pm\n5767 Foster Lane Rd\, Belgrade MT 59714 \nPeter Husbey\, author of “Field Guide to Montana’s Wetland Vascular Plants” and other books\, will give a tour of his own pollinator gardens\, and speak on lawn management techniques for pollinators\, converting to maintenance free yards\, drought resistant grass\, and horse grazing on small acreage plots.
