DESCRIPTION:Join us for a groundbreaking live performance celebrating the release of “Perfect Timing” by Salish and Blackfeet hip-hop artist Foreshadow\, the inaugural Billy Conway Artist Fund grant recipient.\nForeshadow will share the stage with Grammy-winning producer & DJ lophiile\, along with special guests Apsáalooke poet Lucy Real Bird—daughter of Montana Poet Laureate Henry Real Bird—and Paul Durham\, the rock powerhouse behind the band Black Lab. Paul was Foreshadow’s primary mentor throughout his term with BCAF. \nShadow is the first artist to work with the Billy Conway Artist Fund\, a 501(c)(3) created in honor of the late Billy Conway\, drummer for the world-acclaimed indie ‘low rock’ band Morphine; along with blues master Chris Smither; and songwriter Jeffrey Foucault\, and many others.
