DESCRIPTION:Live Fine Art Auction for ARTWEEK PARK COUNTY September 27th\, 2025 \nArtWeek Park County is a new annual event aimed at strengthening the\ncommunity by engaging with the arts and celebrating its creative legacy.\nThis is a place—the Big Bend of the Yellowstone river (Elk River)—where\nmountain ranges meet and where people build community through sharing\ncreative work. The week features signature events like artist lectures\,\nstudent & adult workshops\, and fine art exhibits\, culminating in a live\nauction of the region’s best art. \nThe first of its kind in Park County\, the Live Fine Art Auction directly\nsupports the artists in our community. Every dollar from auction sales\nsupports local artists and helps keep the local creative community strong.\nThe auction is not a fundraiser\, but rather a showcase of some of the best\nworking artists in Southwest Montana. Bidders are investing in more than\njust a beautiful piece—they’re investing in a living\, breathing part of our\ncommunity. \nPark County Montana has been a home to working artists for decades\, and\nArtWeek Park County aims to honor their contributions. Local artists don’t\njust create; they tell the stories of our town\, reflect its culture\, and\nadd depth\, color\, and meaning to everyday spaces. Your support helps keep\ncreativity alive\, encourages original expression\, and sustains the local\neconomy. \nTwenty-eight local working artists have commissioned new works in glass\,\noil\, watercolor\, pastel\, photography\, sculpture\, and mixed media. Visit the\nLivingston Center for Art and Culture beginning September 9th to preview\nall the artwork available in the sale\, as well as a special artist\nreception during the final Livingston Art Walk of the season on\nFriday\, September\n26th. The ArtWeek Auction Catalog is available at participating\norganizations\, or by request. Renowned\nauctioneers\, Black and Associates\, will lead an exciting evening including\na riveting and fast paced Live Auction of southwest Montana’s best art!\nDoors open at 5PM. Cocktails and conversation will be served prior to an\nartfully catered dinner by Food For Thought Catering featuring\nlocally-sourced menu items. The live auction event will begin at 7:15 PM. \nThe countywide celebration of the arts is a partnership between the\nLivingston Depot Center\, Danforth Museum of Art\, and Livingston Center for\nArt and Culture.
