DESCRIPTION:The Depot Festival of the Arts is back! The Livingston Depot will host its 37th annual Festival of the Arts on Wednesday\, Thursday\, and Friday\, July 2nd\, 3rd\, and 4th 2025. Festival hours are from 10am to 6pm on the 2nd and 3rd\, and from 10am to 5pm on July 4th.\nThe Festival of the Arts showcases fine artists\, artisans\, and handcrafters from Montana and the western region into the three-day juried presentation. Past and new vendors will show a wide array of oil paintings\, photography\, woodwork\, ceramics\, jewelry\, metal work\, apparel\, repurposed antiques\, stained glass\, herbals\, toys\, and more. \n“The Festival is so much fun and a great way to support our local artists. We are so impressed with the caliber and diversity of the artists and crafters this year. Between our returning favorites and a new crop of outstanding creators\, I think it’s the best mix of work yet\,” said Depot director Laura Cota. “ We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Depot Park for the 37th year\, and back to our town for the yearly Fourth of July festivities. ” \nThe event also includes a variety of food vendors like Old Faithful Franks\, Crepe Diem\, Bad Burger\, Mountain Berry Bowls\, Taste of Asia\, chocolates\, specialty lemonades\, flavored ices and ice creams. \nVisitors can also enjoy the adjacent Depot Museum’s historic rail and Yellowstone exhibits\, as well as this year’s special exhibit\, “The Grizzly Bear Illustrated: 1828-1943.” The curated collection of vintage imagery explores the complex relationship between humans and grizzly bears on the early western frontier. \nThe Depot Festival of the Arts is three days of fine art\, charming crafts and the famous 4th of July festivities of Livingston\, MT. \nThe Depot Museum exhibits are open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm with a nominal admission. Group tours are also welcome\, and more information is available through the Depot office at (406) 222-2300 or its website\, www.livingstondepot.org.\nThe Grizzly Bear Illustrated: 1828 – 1943 will be on display at the Depot Museum through September 1st\, 2025.
