Cross-country Ski Day January 12 at B Bar Ranch Benefits Gardiner Public Schools @9am
Gardiner: The North Yellowstone Education Foundation (NYEF) announces a cross-country ski day at the B Bar Guest Ranch on Saturday, January 12, 9AM to 4PM. The ticket price includes access to groomed trails in Tom Miner Basin, between Livingston and Gardiner, Montana and a hearty lunch. Participants must call 406-848-7729 to RSVP, Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM to register. No dogs allowed.
Rates are: $25 for ages 13 and up, $10 for ages 7 to 12, and free for 6 and under. Registration begins at 9 AM at the Nordic tent; please bring cash or checks made to NYEF. Bring two nonperishable items for the Gardiner Food Pantry to save $5 off each adult ticket. Lunch is buffet style inside and outside of the Nordic tent from noon to 2PM.
Trails (about 20 kilometers) are groomed for classic, and then for skate skiing as ranch staff is able. Trails are open according to the weather. Pull sleds for children are allowed.
Dogs are NOT allowed at all, even in the car. Please leave your pet(s) at home or your ski party unfortunately will be asked to leave. This is a hard and fast ranch rule.
