DESCRIPTION:Craft Supply Swap & Clothing Swap with Creative Reuse Montana!\nBring craft supplies and clothing you are ready to part with\, and swap them for new-to-you items at the Craft & Clothing Swap! You are not required to bring items to the swap in order to participate – and if you do choose to bring things to the swap\, please make sure they are in usable & sanitary condition. For this swap\, we are emphasizing self-expression\, upcycling & styling as well as gender affirming clothing and warm gear for winter. If you find garments you are inspired to alter or mend\, you can bring them back for the Mending Workshop on Thursday! \nWednesday\, February 11th\nStudio Wheelhouse\n10 Evergreen Dr\, suite B\, Bozeman\, MT 59715 \n4:00-8:00 PM – Drop-in anytime to swap clothing\, craft supplies\, and more! \nThere will also be workshop events happening at Wheelhouse\, alongside the swap\, throughout the afternoon. If you would like to learn a new craft or just hang out with their amazing community of local artists\, please don’t hesitate to join in! \n5:00-7:00 PM: Stitch around the World – Guided sewing lessons from instructor Red teach a new sewing technique from around the world every Wednesday!\n7:00-8:30PM: Woven Wednesdays – Join Red for their weekly community sewing & stitching circle. All crafts and projects are welcome! \nWhether you come to this workshop as a complete beginner or an experienced seamstress\, all are welcome. Our volunteers will help with your repair or upcycling project to the best of their ability. If you are interested in learning more art techniques to expand your self-expression\, please check out the variety of classes Wheelhouse offers throughout the year! If you are interested in the tools & supplies the studio has to offer during their open studio hours\, you can also learn more about studio access. \nTo maintain a welcoming and accessible environment\, tickets are available on a pay what you can system. We suggest $5 to help us cover the base costs of organization & give back to our volunteers and community. To give more support to our media & organizing team\, or “pay for a neighbor\,” you are welcome to choose a higher ticket price or to make a donation.
