Classic Literature Book Club

The Classic Literature Book Club focuses on literature that has withstood the test of time and continues to be relevant. On Saturday, March 18, the CLBC will discuss The Quiet American by Graham Greene. Alden Pyle, an idealistic young American, is sent to Vietnam to promote democracy. Written in 1955 prior to the Vietnam conflict. The Quiet American foreshadows the events leading up to the Vietnam conflict. This title is available to borrow as an eBook or audiobook with no waiting or holds on Hoopla, a free service provided by Bozeman Public Library. If you always wanted to read, and discuss such books, the Classic Literature Book Club might be the book club for you. This meeting held 10:15am – Noon.
