DESCRIPTION:The Montana State University Library<https://www.lib.montana.edu/index.html> will host a free event\, “A Night with Theodore Roosevelt IV\,” at 7 p.m. Tuesday\, Sept. 9\, in the Hager Auditorium at MSU’s Museum of the Rockies<https://museumoftherockies.org/>. A reception will follow. Roosevelt is a great-grandson of former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt and an advocate for climate protection and the U.S. National Park Service.\nAt the event\, Roosevelt will have a conversation on stage with MSU history professor Mark Fiege about his life\, the current state of our waters and fishing climates\, and the role of national parks in these ecological and recreational environments.\nRoosevelt is a retired U.S. Navy Reserve lieutenant commander and a managing director for Barclays Capital Inc. He has earned widespread respect as both a forward-thinking investment banker and an influential activist through his efforts to address climate change and preserve public lands. He lives in New York.\nRoosevelt’s visit is part of the MSU Library’s annual Trout and Salmonid Lecture Series<https://www.lib.montana.edu/archives/news-and-events/trout-lecture-series/index.html>.
