2018 Lunch on the Lawn w/ Sharon & the NoMads

“Sharon and the NoMads” kick off the’ “Lunch on The Lawn” series July 11th from 11:30-1:30

Bring a chair, Lunch, relax, dance on the lovely grass of the Emerson Lawn and be entertained by the upbeat yet soothing music of “Sharon and The NoMads”. Sharon, sings a wide selection of Americana, Country, Classic rock and roll and Jazz tunes hailing from Emmylou Harris, Dixie Chicks, Kathy Mathea, Dolly Parton ,Suzy Bogguss, Stevie Nicks, Adele, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Alison Krauss and more.
Throw in some tunes such as “Fly Me To The Moon” and some yodeling on “I want to be a Cowboys’ Sweetheart” and you’ve got something for most all musical tastes and for all ages. Sharon’s voice has been compared to the contralto voice of Karen Carpenter.
Singer-songwriter Sharon Iltis has been “gathering” musicians for over 40 yrs bringing people together through music, often writing signature songs for fundraisers, special events and weddings. An avid outdoors woman and environmental compassionate she most recently donated the rights to her song “The Stage at Standing Rock” to the Standing Rock effort. Sharon was a finalist at the singer-songwriter competition at Big Top Chautauqua in Bayfield, WI. with her commemorative song “Old Nash Lodge” She has produced 3 CDs “Today at Last” , “Everyday” and “Just Waiting”. All CDs are available at Cactus records, Bozeman and ITUNES.
With Cliff DeManty on keyboard, Eddie T. on bass, Brett Potter on drums, Banjo Jim and sound by Mike Weix this is an even you won’t want to miss. The event takes place at 111 S. Grand, Bozeman, MT.
