CELEBRATING OUR 21st YEAR ★ Magic City Blues has attracted thousands and thousands of music fans from all across the country to Billings, the state’s largest city. Magic City Blues, an urban music festival in a rural state, is a signature event for the City of Billings and the State of Montana. We are proud of our natural Montana hospitality, unique setting, fabulous lineups, and the appeal of The Last Best Place.
FESTIVAL INFORMATION
THIS IS AN OUTDOOR FESTIVAL. It is all-ages.
All people who enter the festival need a pass, including babies and children.
YOU MUST BE 21 TO DRINK ALCOHOL.

Magic City Blues happens rain or shine, so please plan accordingly.
There is plenty of free parking. First come, first served.
NO RE-ENTRY. Once you enter the festival, you may not exit and re-enter.
Festival Entrance: the Montana Pavilion building at MetraPark.
Doors open at 4:30 pm each night.
Music starts at 5:30 pm each night.
There are three stages: two outside and one in the Montana Pavilion.
Full concessions are available on site.
There is NO SMOKING in all of MetraPark’s buildings.
We will have designated areas outside for smoking during the festival.
You can bring a low back lawn or camp chairs to the festival – one per festival pass. No umbrellas or tents. There will be picnic tables and some bleachers to sit on as well.
All handbags are subject to examination. Pat downs and electronic wanding can be expected.
NOT ALLOWED:
Backpacks, large bags, large purses, camelbacks, umbrellas.
Water bottles, coolers.
Outside food or drink.
Weapons of any kind.
Drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Distribution of unauthorized promotional or commercial materials.
Professional cameras with detachable lenses and video cameras.
Laser pointers, paint, illegal substances.
Pets.
ADA registered service animals are allowed. However, this does not include emotional support animals, therapy animals, or companion animals. Any animal whose task is to provide protection, emotional support, well-being, comfort, or companionship is NOT considered a service animal and will not be allowed into the venue. Only service animals that have been individually trained and are under the proper care of their owners will be allowed within the premises.
