Attic benefit show celebrates connection between man & horse
The Attic, Downtown Livingston’s favorite live music, will host special benefit concert “The Ponies” on Saturday, March 23rd. The evening will serve as a celebration of the horse in song and stories with renowned singer/songwriter and horse trainer, Mike Beck. Tickets are $20 for adults, or $15 for seniors and students. Doors open at 6pm ahead of the show at 7pm.
“My life has been wrapped up in horses and music, so it’s only natural that I have combined both my passions together in one show,” Beck says. “‘The Ponies’ is a complete evening of songs I’ve written and a few others I love, plus stories of my life’s work in the pursuit of coming together with the horse through a harmonious approach to bring out the best in both horse and human. This is in no way just a cowboy show, rather a celebration of the ancient draw and connection between Man and Horse, through song and story.”
This intimate concert will raise funds for Windhorse Equine Learning programs that empower youth through hands-on experiences with horses. Learn more at www.windhorseequinelearning.org.
